The Shawnee State women’s basketball team is pleased to announce the dates of five summer camp opportunities for both individual players and teams alike. Sign-ups for the individual camps are now available online.
The first camp of the summer is the Individual Camp – set to begin May 31 through June 3. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day in Frank & Janis Waller Gymnasium. The cost is $100 per camper.
The next opportunity comes in the Guard-Post Camp, which will run from June 6-8. The camp, which costs $75 per person, will provide position specific instruction from SSU coaches and players. There will be two sessions – the first for guards from 9 a.m. to noon and post players from 1-4 p.m. The camp is available to grades 3-12.
Both the individual and guard-post camp can be signed up for online at SSUBears.com. Visit the Camps page under Bears Links and select “SIGN UP HERE!” under the correct camp.
The final three camps over the summer will be for teams of several different ages and skill levels. More information on these camps can be found under the Camps page on SSUBears.com, as well.
More information on any of the camps throughout the summer – and sign-ups for the team camps – can be found by contacting Head Coach Jeff Nickel at (740) 351-3271 or a firstname.lastname@example.org.
