Shawnee State University awards Master’s Degrees

Shawnee State University held commencement on Saturday, May 9, conferring degrees on 439 students with 250 receiving Bachelor’s Degrees, 179 receiving Associate’s Degrees and three graduates receiving Master’s Degrees.

20 are graduating Summa Cum Laude with a grade point average of 3.9 or above;

40 are graduating Magna Cum Laude with a grade average of 3.75 to 3.89

103 are graduating Cum Laude with an average of 3.50 to 3.74.

11 of our graduates today are in the University Honors Program.

39% of this class is graduating with honors.

Michelle Aldridge, of Pedro, earned a Master of Education in Intervention Specialist K-12.

Mark DeWitt, of Portsmouth, earned a Master of Education in Intervention Specialist K-12.
