Berean Baptist Church welcomes new pastor

Steve & Caroline Mann

Pastor Steve was a 1975 graduate of East High School. He was also the Assistant Pastor of Berean Baptist Church from 1980-1985. He, along with his wife, resigned their ministry at Berean to serve the Lord as missionaries in England in 1985. While serving 30 years in England, they ministered to 4 different churches: Tyndale Baptist Chapel, Little Sodbury (Assistant pastor); Pendennis Evangelical Baptist Church, Bristol (Pastor); North Swindon Baptist Church and Cornerstone Church in Swindon (Pastor) In 2013, Steve became Regional Director for Western Europe with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism). Steve is the oldest son of Pastor Fred and Joy Mann. Fred Mann was pastor at Berean from 1972 to 1985. Pastor Steve has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Music and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Tennessee Temple University. His wife, Caroline, also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music, English and Bible from Tennessee Temple University. They have 4 children: Evangeline (Mann) Smith, a preschool teacher, and Dempsy live in KY, Isaac Mann and his wife Kacie are missionaries to Papua, Indonesia, Stephanie (Mann) Lamour and Jeremy are missionaries with Inner City Impact in Chicago, and Christiana Mann is in college majoring in Biblical Counseling.. They currently have 7 grandchildren. “I’m excited to see what God might do. We want to be a blessing in our Community. I believe the Gospel is the greatest blessing of all. It prepares us for heaven and it also teaches us how to love and serve others. I’m looking forward to meeting the people of Sciotoville, that’s where my heart is.”
