Enjoy a spirited Halloween at Ashland Town Center, Ashland’s premier indoor shopping destination. The popular shopping destination will offer fun Halloween-themed activities for families this year.
The annual Mall-o-ween Trick-or-Treat will take place on Thursday, October 27, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. This safe, indoor, air-conditioned and entertaining alternative to traditional outdoor Halloween activities will offer free trick-or-treating fun aimed for children ages 12 and under. Wizards-in-training, junior Jedis, mini Marvel and DC super heroes and picture-perfect princesses are invited to show-off their most creative, colorful and spectacular costumes during the Costume Contest. Register near Rack Room Shoes by 6:30 p.m. The contest is free to participate in, but Ashland Town Center encourages shoppers to bring a canned food donation for River Cities Harvest. The contest will be judged in four categories: Most Creative Costume, Most Spooktacular Baby, Best Boy Costume and Best Girl Costume.
Children and adults still seeking the perfect disguise can visit Spirit Halloween, Ashland’s ghoulish go-to for creative costumes and home décor. Choose from costumes, masks, wigs, and in-depth accessories. With its “So Much Fun It’s Scary” mission, Spirit provides an entertaining and interactive in-store experience for all. In addition to imaginative party necessities, Spirit Halloween gives back to the community through its Spirit of Children charitable initiative. Established in 2006, Spirit of Children raises money in-store and online and through vendor donations to support the Child Life department at hospitals across the United States and Canada. Its mission is to make hospitals less scary for kids and their families, the program has raised over $29 million to provide fun and funding all year long to its more than 130 partner hospitals.
