All locations of the Portsmouth Public Library will be closed Thursday,
December 24 and Friday, December 25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Locations will reopen on Saturday, December 26 with regular business
hours.
December 1- 31- Herdman’ Mitten Tree in Youth Services at the Portsmouth
Public Library. Any mittens, gloves, scarfs, or hats left on the tree
will be donated to local children in need.
December 1-23 – Elf on the Bookshelf- Visit the Circulation Desk at the
Portsmouth Public Library December 1-23 for a clue on Buddy the Elf’s
location in the library. Once you find his location write your contact
info on the date due slip inside the front cover of the library item.
Come back the next day and try to find him in a different location.
Patrons who find Buddy the most will be entered to win a FREE month
membership to SOMC Life Center!
