• White Gravel Community Church, 4979 White Gravel Road of Minford has a new preacher Vernon Conley. The church will host services on Sunday, Feb. 24th starting at 10 a.m. with morning worship. Sunday evening services are held at 6 p.m. and Wednesday evening services at 7 p.m.
• Beach Fork Church, 1847 St. Rt. 348, Otway, Ohio will be hosting at clothing giveaway on saturday Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The giveaway will feature winter and summer clothing for the whole family.
• Community Bible Church, 230 Fairground Road, Lucasville will be hosting the Parsons Family during the 10 a.m, services on Feb. 24th.
• Portsmouth First Church of the Nazarene, located at Third and Brown Streets in Portsmouth will start Sunday, Feb. 24 morning activities at 10 a.m. with Donuts, Coffee, Juice and Milk served in the Fellowship Hall. Sunday, February 24, 10 a.m. - Church Elections. Ballots will be open from 10 - 10:30 and 30 minutes following dismissal of Morning Worship.
Sunday, February 24, 10:30 a.m. - Morning Worship, with Pastor Brian bringing the fourth message in the series “Getting Past Your Past.” An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing is available at all services. We are also taking up our Alabaster Offering this morning. One Hundred Percent of this money goes to building hospitals, schools and mission centers around the world. Nursery Workers today are Kathy Kammerer and Shell Jordan.
• McDermott Community of Christ will have the theme “Become a Covenant People” on the second Sunday in Lent, February 24, at the 10:45 worship service. Elder Sandy Cable will preside over the service, and the speaker will be Priest Wanda Joslin. Priest Rhonda Morkassel will be pianist for the service, and will also provide our ministry of music. Children’s ministry will be by Evelyn Blair. The church school service will precede the worship service at 9:30. Prayer service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30pm with Deacon Mick Gillette presiding and Brenda Gillette bringing us the theme. A free lunch is served every Thursday from 11 to one at the church.

• Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will spend Sunday February 24 in a day of prayer and fasting for their upcoming World Conference held in Independence Missouri during the week of April 13-18. For the 10:30 AM Morning Worship Service Priest Kim Green will develop the weekly church theme of “Become a Covenant People” with Priest Carol McGraw in charge of music. There will be a special offering collected during the service to help with the World Conference expenses. The older youth of the branch will continue their 6-week study of the Jared Munson books “Courageous Witness” and “Face Your Fears” led by Priest Kim Green during their 10:30 AM Children’s Church time.
