The regular meeting of the South Portsmouth Homemakers met at McKell Library on Tues., Sept. 4th with 17 members in attendance. President Glenda Ward presiding over the business meeting. Following prayer, devotions, and the Homemakers Creed revisions to the members, hostess and chairman lists were updated.

Janet VanBibber was presented a 50 year membership pin.

Future plans may include a club scrapbook, bake sale, recycling and decorating a tree at Greenbo for Christmas.

The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 2 and everyone attending is encouraged to wear “Pink” in observance of Breast Cancer Month.
