The New Boston Homemakers met at the New Boston Community Center on March 14 with seven members present.

The pledge to the flag was given by Dolores Lightner and the creed was given by Vicki Riepenhoff.

In the absence of the secretary, the secretary and treasurers reports were given by Janice Tomlin.

The president gave a short report on the council meeting.

Janice Tomlin, gave devotions “Sight and Sounds of Spring” by Frankie Davis Aviatt.

Irene Duffany gave a report on the lesson given by Jim Saddler. He told how they brought gifts for veterans in nursing homes.

Rosella Ripenhoff gave a report on the upcoming Achievement Day. It will be held on April 16th with KFC catering.

For the month of April, the club is to bring items for Veterans Helping Veterans. Beside can goods you can bring toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant etc.,

For the month of May, Irene Duffany will bring the items for making book markers for the residents of Crystal Care.

After the meeting the homemakers filled 87 Easter Eggs for Bridgeport Nursing Home.

The next meeting will be held April 11 at 11 a.m. at the New Boston Community Center.
