Jean Turner, director of Scioto Tech’s Surgical Technology program, was awarded the Fellow of the Association of Surgical Technologists (F.A.S.T) designation by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
This designation is awarded to recognize those individuals who have upheld the highest professional, ethical and moral standards and traditions of the surgical technology profession. The awardees are those who are devoted to the advancement of the profession towards improving the quality of surgical patient care.
Turner has been teaching in the Surgical Technology program for 12 years and became the program director in 2007. She resides in Wheelersburg, Ohio with her husband Dr. Ronald Turner.
