The United Way, through the help of volunteer readers, read “The Lady Bug Girl and the Bug Squad” to area preschools. The United Way partnered with Jumpstart’s Read for the Record to promote literacy to children and to reach a goal of volunteers reading to one million children nationally on October 4th.
