In celebration of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint and protector of all living creatures, the three Catholic churches of western Scioto County, Our Lady of Sorrows, Holy Trinity and Our Lady of Lourdes, in sponsorship with the Animal Welfare League of Scioto County will be hosting a pet blessing. Rev. David Young will be blessing pets at Holy Trinity Church, State Route 73, Pond Creek, on Sunday, October 7th at 2 pm. All pets and their caretakers are cordially invited to attend.
