Members of STAR, Inc. IMPACT (Mobile Partnership Aktion Community Team) gathered together at the Portsmouth Salvation Army to celebration exceeding 1000 hours of volunteer service in the community. The group was commissioned by the Portsmouth Kiwanis in May as an Aktion Club and was presented with an official charter in August. Since May, the group has volunteered throughout the community in various capacities. STAR, Inc. provides a variety of adult services for the Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
