SSU Concludes Recruitment Season with “Greek Week”

SSU’s fraternity/sorority recruitment season drew to a close during the week of Sept. 1-5th with a final series of meet-and-greets orchestrated by the university’s four Greek organizations: Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE), Phi Mu Delta (PMD), Theta Phi Alpha (TPA) and Delta Phi Epsilon (DPE). Each event was designed as a means of introducing prospective members to Greek life, as well as the current members of the groups. In addition to outdoor activities—including the TKE obstacle course, PMD’s Ultimate Frisbee showdown, the “Summer Nights” celebration by TPA and a frozen yogurt bar by DPE—the organizations hosted several campus-wide cook-outs and community service opportunities. AAA: Gas Prices Expected to Fall in September

South Central Ohio gas prices dipped about three cents a gallon to $3.48, according to AAA East Central’s Fuel Gauge Report.AAA East Central surveys more than 211 gas stations in South Central Ohio every week.
