Orientation held for pageant contestants

By Wayne Allentallen@civitasmedia.comOver 120 contestants for the 2015 Miss Ohio USA and Miss Ohio Teen USA pageants gathered at the Holiday Inn Sunday to learn about the pageant.“The orientation is an opportunity for them (contestants and families) to submit their paperwork and make sure everything is in order before the pageant,” Kim Bauer, local pageant director said. “As a part of the orientation, the contestants will have their photos taken for the program. At that time pageant director Melissa Pitchford and I will address the contestants.”The 2015 Miss Ohio USA and Miss Ohio Teen USA pageants will be returning to the Vern Riffe Center For the Arts in Portsmouth Nov. 8-9 for the 13th consecutive year.


Tau Kappa Epsilon presents Rock for the Kids
