It’s time to dust off the hardwood and get fired up! The annual Hardwood Heroes Celebrity Basketball Game will be held on March 29 at 1 p.m. at Shawnee State University’s Athletic Complex. The event is a fundraiser for the Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ (SCBDD) Special Olympics.“We are really excited this year,” said Shawn Jordan, Awareness Coordinator at SCBDD and coordinator for this year’s event. “This event is a great way for people to see our Special Olympians in action and to learn more about the programs and services available at SCBDD.”This year’s theme, ‘Let’s Get Fired Up!’ has everyone on fire with excitement for the event.
