By Wayne Allentallen@civitasmedia.comOn Tuesday, July 1 the Scioto County Junior Fair Royalty Contest was held at the SOMC Friend Center, naming the top five contestants and junior fair royalty.Over the course of the competition the contestants are judge in the areas of activities, achievements and interview skills.“The girls have been interviewed throughout the day and they came back tonight in their formal wear,” said Mary Evans, with the Scioto County Junior Fair Queen Committee. “We had five girls this year so all five make the court.”This years contestants included Holly Collett, Megan Widdig, Jessi Wright, Katie McQuithy and Jordan Hileman.
