Women’s Center holds annual Welcome Back to Campus Party

Director Ann Linden (left) and staff-members of the SSU Women’s Center greet returners and introduce themselves to new students with the annual Welcome Back to Campus Party at the Administration Annex lawn on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 4-6 p.m. During the event, volunteers and representatives served pizza/drinks, signed-up new members and offered the campus community a preview of the resources available through the Center (located in the basement of Massie Hall ) as students performed songs karaoke-style. The event was additionally designed to promote several upcoming events that further the Center’s goal to promote, advocate and support the women of SSU, including a presentation by author/sexual assault activist Liz Seccuro on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Flohr Lecture Hall.


Ovid Young Memorial Concert
