Students inducted into SSU’s first psychological honor society On Friday, March 29, the induction of 13 members officiated Shawnee State University’s first international psychological honor society, Psi Chi.
The Psi Chi Honor Society, which was founded in 1929 with the purpose of promoting educational excellence in the field of psychology, requires that new members meet an overall GPA that is in the top 35 percent and a psychology GPA of at least 3.00.
