Proactive Occupational Medicine crespond to the work-site for injury assessment and drug screening. Clients may also call our nurse to discuss the best treatment for the employee work related injury. We have a unique philosophy that focuses on working with the safety manager to decrease recordable work related injuries, lost work time and off-site medical expenses. Our staff is trained in Proactive Occupational Medical Principles which involve injury prevention, appropriate injury assessment and acute injury treatment without over or under treatment as well as post-injury follow-up treatment and injury case monitoring.

Our staff members are SAPPA certified and can provide on-site Drug and Alcohol Testing for clients and their contractors, collecting specimens for post accidents, randoms, and reasonable cause. Our on-site services save the client the added cost associated with sending employees off-site for needed testing.

Proactive Occupational Medicine can complete all required employee occupational monitoring and testing in a manner that is most cost effective. We will adapt our schedules to the client and its employees. We will tailor our on-site services to support client needs for first aid services, drug screening, and occupational testing such as audiograms, Pulmonary Function Testing, Qualitative and Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing, and blood lead level monitoring.

Proactive Occupational Medicine on-site first aid is extremely beneficial when construction, demolition, and heavy equipment work is being conducted or the work is in a remote area where EMS and medical providers are not easily accessible. We assess the job site and work with local resources to establish a plan of action and help the client develop the best plan of care for their employees in case of an emergency. Our staff will work with on-site Safety and ERT or SRT teams for the best outcome possible for employees that require off-site treatment. We work as a team member that understands the importance of incident and injury prevention, the importance of a rapid and complete injury assessment in a proactive manner, and the treatment of the injury on-site whenever possible. With Proactive Occupational Medicine on-site, Safety Professionals can focus on safety because they have the best occupational medical services available on their team.

We only do occupational medicine so we are non-bias when it comes to off-site referrals. We work with the appropriate off-site providers that understand our philosophy on Proactive Occupational Medicine and the needs of our clients. We oversee both on-site and off-site employee medical needs and work with our clients to ensure that their employees remain as injury free as possible, safe and healthy.
