Ezra and Carolyn Wright of Minford were married at First Christian Church in Russell, KY on Sept. 29, 1962 by Rev. Omar Miller.

Ezra is the son of the late William “Bud” and Eunice Rose Wright. He is a 1962 graduate of Minford High School. He has been a member of Carpenters Local #437 for 42 years, retiring from work in 1994. He then he working at USEC as a janitor and retired in 2005.

Carolyn is the daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah Pace Mason. She is a graduate of Minford High School and a homemaker. They are members of Stockdale United Christian Church.

They have four children; Tami (Dwayne) Phipps of Minford; Tony (Valerie) Wright of Henryetts, Oklahoma; Jodi Wright of Portsmouth; Julie (Ben) Cronin of Minford.

They have eight grandchildren; Derek (Megan) Marion, Danielle (Timothy) Armstrong, Tyler Madden, Cody (Tori) Wright, Annette Wright, Grace Ellifritt, Levi Wright and Gavan Wright.

They are great-grandparents of Piper Rose Marion.

The Wright’s were honored with a surprise party at the home of their daughter Jodi. They then went on an anniversary trip to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, Virginia.
