Local bakers go back to Los Angeles again! Mother-daughter team, go for the second time to Food Networks Cupcake Wars, which aired the first time this last Sunday the 21st. Alyssa Logan, founder (of 3 years) of 83 Sweets gourmet cupcake bakery. The bakery is an 80’s themed bakery which can be found at www.83sweets.com. Her mother Julie Blackburn is also a baker and Alyssa’s business partner. The duo returned for the second time on the reality competition television show. The featured guest was the newest pop singer on the scene, Cody Simpson.
Their first trip was for the Tony Hawk Foundation Skate Parks which aired on July 8th of this year, in which the baking team made it to the finals. That show should rerun within the next few months in case people missed it.
We could not release any information to the media until it’s first airing. But we can at least get it on the air so local people can have a chance to see it on Tuesday.
