Community Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Portsmouth, is an agency dedicated to provide quality services, promoted accessibility and equality for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and their families within the community.
Serving the community since 1984, CSDHH is one of only ten center for the deaf in Ohio. Our purpose is to bridge the communication gap between the deaf and hard of hearing communities in our region. We strive to accomplish this through a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs of the deaf and hard of hearing.
SCDHH services include, interpreting, inservice presentations, deaf awareness programs, sign language classes, outreach programs. supportive services, along with many others.
CSDHH provides services to the residents of Scioto, Adams, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Ross and Vinton Counties in Ohio
