Margie Bradshaw

Margie Bradshaw, 89, of Lucasville, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Morton Bradshaw, one son, Dennis (Joyce) Bradshaw of Greencastle, Ind.; one daughter Susie (Jerry) Morland of Pompano Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Rev. John Gowdy officiating.

Carolyn Conley

1950-2012

Carolyn Sue Conley, 61 of Columbus, formerly of Sciotoville, died Monday, August 20, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Baker; one daughter, Rebecca Rae Baker (Jeremy Messer) of Sciotoville and two grandsons.

Services were held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Reverend Richard North officiating.

Frances Crabtree

1937-2012

Frances Crabtree, 75, of Lucasville, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at Hempstead Manor in Portsmouth. She is survived by one son, Jeff (Michelle) Crabtree of Frazeysburg, Ohio; one daughter Leona “Katie” Crabtree of Lucasville; two grandchildren, two sisters. Services were held on Friday, Sept 21, 2012 in Martin Cemetery with Brad Harris officiating.

Darrell Dummitt

1963-2012

Darrell Dewayne Dummitt, 48, of Minford, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. In addition to his mother Sandra Williams Dummitt Montgomery of Minford , he is survived by his wife, Kerry Self Dummitt; one son, Errik Dummitt of Nebraska; two daughters, Stephanie Dummitt of Minford, Mylissa Dummitt Pitts of Stout; five grandchildren; one brother, James Dummitt of Lucasville, and his step father, Bob Montgomery of Minford. Services were held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Erwin-Dodson-Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Mark Bales officiating.

Diana Dyer

1952-2012

Diana Gail Dyer age 59 of Franklin Furnace died Friday, September 14, 2012 as a result of a motorcycle accident. She is survived by her husband, Mike Dyer, two sons, Michael Dyer and David (Francie) Dyer, three daughters, Nikki (Rich) Emerson, Kim (Jeremy) Hall and Jessica (Dustin) Johnson, two brothers, Johnny Sergent and Keith Sergent and ten grandchildren. Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Cecilia Hike

1907-2012

Cecilia Hike, 105, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Best Care of Wheelersburg. Surviving are her son Merle Jenkins of Wheelersburg, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Rev. Adam Streitenberger officiating.

Jean Jeanguenat

1924-2012

Jean Jeanguenat, 88, of West Portsmouth, died at Riverside Hospital in Columbus on September 12, 2012. Surviving are a sister Evelyn (Wade) Lawson of Lucasville and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Rev. David Young officiating.

Claudia Murdock

1945-2012

Claudia “Cutie” Grenevare Murdock, 67, of Portsmouth, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Surviving Claudia is her daughter; Dr. Marsha Shereen Alecia Smith of Portsmouth; three brothers, Mark Daguilar of Kingston, Leacroft Murdock of St. Mary, Richard Murdock of Kingston; four sisters, Annette Murdock of London, England, Dawn Ivey, Andrea (Michael) Bernard, and Lorraine Daguilar, all of Kingston. Services were held Monday, Sept. 17 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Roth officiating.

Adrian Sluder

1923-2012

Adrian Wood Sluder, 89, of Minford, formerly of Sciotoville, died September 10, 2012 at the SOMC Hospice Center. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Elrod Sluder, a daughter, Cheryl Lynne (David) Porter of Sciotoville; a grandson, a granddaughter. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 17 at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Rev. Fred R. Mann officiating.

Jake Stockham

1940-2012

Harold T. “Jake” Stockham, 71, of McDermott, went to be the Lord Sept. 16, 2012 at SOMC Hospice with his family by his side.

He is survived by his special friend, Virginia Smith of Ironton; his son, Jake Shannon Stockham (Bebs) of Minford; one daughter Sonya Pelnarsch (Sam) of Ramona, California; three grand-daughters and two step-grandsons.

Services were held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Michael DeFoe officiating.
