FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (March 25, 2014) – Contractors plan to start embankment repairs on KY 2070 in Greenup County April 1, which will require traffic changes on the state highway.

The work involves installing T-rail and placing rock alongside KY 2070 from the 6 to 8 mile markers – between Stumps Run Road and Boggs Lane. Due to equipment working in the roadway, motorists should expect lengthy delays. All through traffic should seek alternate routes. However, allowances will be made for local traffic, school buses and emergency vehicles.

Road work is subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
