* Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will “Bless God’s Name Forever” at their 10:30 AM Morning Worship Service on Sunday November 10. Stacie Stephens will develop the weekly World Church theme and Kathy Deemer will bring forth the ministry of music. Children’s Church will also begin at 10:30 AM. This is also “Subway Sunday” when the saints go marching into the West Portsmouth Subway for fellowship at 9 AM with Kathy Deemer leading the study of “Christ Mission Is Our Mission”


* The Lucasville Community of Christ, Thomas Hollow Road, will hold services on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School -9:45 a.m. Worship Service - 10:30 a.m. The theme for Sunday is “Bless God’s Name Forever” with Elder Paul Gregory presiding over the 10:30 a.m. service. Deacon Paula Bramblett will bring the Morning Message. Wednesday Evening Service 6:00 p.m., -“Adult Night Out Group”- 5:30 p.m. - Nov. 18 - LaRosa’s- New Boston.


* The Allen Chapel Church of Christ will be holding a revival November 10th - 13th at 7 pm. Brother Leo “Henry” Glancy will bringing the message each night. There will be special singing featuring local talent and a nursery will be available. * McDermott Community of Christ will have church school service Sunday at 9:30am with with worship by Mick & Brenda Gillette, followed by classes. Elder Sandy Cable will preside over the 10:45 worship service and the Worship Commission will have theme development, with the theme being “Bless God’s Name Forever.” Brenda Gillette will have the children’s ministry. Ministry of music will be by Jeremy Miller. Bev Meadows will be pianist for the service. The Wednesday afternoon prayer service will begin at 3pm, and Pastor Ed Cable will preside. A free lunch is served every Thursday from 11 to 1pm.

Pastor Tim Goodwin will be preaching in both the a.m. and p.m. services on Sunday, November 10. A 100% vote taken on Sunday evening, November 3 to take on Lyle Trembly family as missionaries to China. Special 37th anniversary recognition to Stuart and Anita Payne on November 13. Missionaries of the week are Ron and Brenda Ruse, serving in Nova Scotia, Canada and supported by Berean since April 2002. November 9 church-wide breakfast and visitation at 8:00 a.m. November 10 missionaries Vitaliy and Ann Sokol from Ukraine in the Sunday service. November 11 Youth Rally at 7:00 p.m. Handbells rehearsal on November 10, 17 and 24, getting ready for special performances in the area in December. Board meeting November 18 at 6:30 p.m. November 20 missionaries Chad and Wendy Justice, from Dominican Republic in the Wednesday night prayer service.


* Services for Sunday, Nov. 10, will include Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., worship at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg. The annual congregational meeting will be conducted following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. and choir will practice at 5:15 p.m.


Several items, which are still need for Operation Christmas Child, includes hairbows, big erasers, toys for boys, 70 stuffed animals and lots of individually wrapped candy.
