The South Portsmouth Homemakers met on Oct. 1 at the McKell Library. President Warnock opened the meeting. Hostesses were Janet Van Bibber and Glenda Ward. Janet Van Bibber gave the lesson on “Beans, Beans and Beans.”

Bernetia Williams did devotions on “autumn.”

Everyone then read the homemakers creed, 17 members answered roll by naming their favorite scary movie.

The secretary and treasury reports were read and approved.

It was decided the group would be going to Greenbo for its Christmas party. prizes were given out and the president thanked everyone for their attendance.
