The New Boston Board Of Education meet in regular session June 27 and took action on the following items;
Approved bills paid, investment report, financial report and bank reconciliation for May 2013.
Approved the amended appropriations and amended certificate of estimated resources.
Set salaries for 2013-2014.
Approved advances and transfers for FY13.
Authorized use of Set Bal program to close FY13.
Employed Kendra Holbrook as pre-school teacher for 2013-14.
Employed Jessica Porter as cook for 2013-14.
Accepted the resignation of Rachael Coriell.
Approved contracts with SCOESC for TAG and Psychologist for FY14.
Recognized spring sports awards.

Voided Mary Waugh’s part time contract and employed Mary Waugh as a full time teacher.
Employed Whitney Yates as teacher aide for 2013-14.
Recognized Helen Scherer as a volunteer for varsity cheerleaders.
Discussed Fire Alarm System.
Entered executive session to discuss personnel evaluation.
Returned to regular session.
