* The First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg, is a relay station for Operation Christmas Child, and the church will be open the following hours to receive the filled boxes: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21; 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22; and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23. Worship services will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, and Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. Ladies Bible Study and prayer time will start at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the office annex. * Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will be under the ministry of Seventy Justin Delong when they meet for their 10:30 AM Morning Worship service on Sunday November 22. Elder Kathy Deemer will develop the weekly World Church theme of “Listen to the Truth” as the saints also celebrate the Reign of Christ. Elder Carol McGraw will present the musical selections and Children’s Church will begin at 10:30 AM. There will be no Wednesday Eve activity on November 25.

Sunday, November 22, 10 a.m. – Bible Discovery – There are classes for all ages, from Nursery through Adult. Right before class, donuts, coffee, milk and juice are served.
Sunday, November 22, 11 a.m. – Worship Encounter – Pastor Art will bring the message from God’s Word. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing is available at all services. We will be collecting a special Thanksgiving Offering today, that will go to help support over 700 Nazarene Missionaries world wide. Children will be dismissed during the offering to go have their own worship service, Childrens Encounter. Tuesday, November 24, 3 – 5 p.m. – LCM Food Pantry hours are observed, followed by their ministry at Tracy Park. Wednesday, November 25, 6:30 p.m. – Prayer Encounter – Prayer is the foundation of PFNaz. We gather together every Wednesday night for corporate prayer. This is not your typical prayer meeting. After spending some intimate time in worship, we call on God in prayer. We seek His face and present our request for the needs of our families, our church and our world. Come and encounter the powerful difference that prayer makes. Pastor Art is also teaching on “Discovering the Corporate Cry.” “Where people pray and miracles happen.”
