Shawnee State University’s Workforce Development invites all students, faculty, staff, and surrounding community to attend Kelly Babcock’s lecture as a part of the Entrepreneurial Journey Speaker Series at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs., November 30 in Room 207 in the Clark Memorial Library.
If you are interested in learning how to start your own business or in entrepreneurship, the Babcock’s lecture is a great opportunity to learn and listen as she tells of her own successful entrepreneurial journey.
Babcock provides brand strategy coaching and design to small businesses through her consultancy, EBEE Design. She received her Master’s in Human-Centered Design from University of the Arts and her BFA in design with a minor in Marketing from Miami University. Babcock has over 16 years of experience working at the intersection of design and business. Some of her experience include working as a consultant and in-house designer at places such as Interbrand Design Forum and US Bank. Babcock currently lives in Portsmouth, Ohio with her husband and daughter. When she’s not designing, Babcock can be found riding her horse through the local state forest.
Admission to the Entrepreneurial Journey Speaker Series is free and open to all attendees.
The event is sponsored by SSU Workforce Development. The Entrepreneurial Speaker Series aims to promote entrepreneurship on campus and encourage students and community members to learn about the skills needed to establish and grow their own businesses.
