PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – The Delta Phi Epsilon sorority (DPhiE) at Shawnee State University will be hosting its third annual Princess for a Day event from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 15 in the Sodexo Ballroom of the Morris University Center.
Princess for a Day is a fun-filled event for the community featuring a meet and greet with the sorority members dressed up as different Disney Princesses, makeovers, arts and crafts, as well as a Princess themed tea party. Snacks and refreshments will be included during the event. Registration is $25 for each princess and can be completed online at www.princessforaday2016.eventbrite.com.
All proceeds of the event will be donated to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). ANAD is a non-profit organization that works in areas of support, awareness, advocacy, referral, education and prevention. They are the oldest organization aimed at fighting eating disorders in the United States. ANAD’s mission is to alleviate suffering and provide support for those afflicted with eating disorders.
DPhiE and ANAD have a history of philanthropic partnership. Throughout the years, DPhiE has held numerous events to raise funds for ANAD’s cause.
