North Moreland Christian Baptist Church

North Moreland Christian Baptist Church will be having Homecoming September 17th. Pastor Chris Oiler will be preaching during the morning service. Breakfast is served every Sunday morning 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Sunday School 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Pastor Paul Hagen. Super Church Pastor Chris Meenach 10:30 a.m. to noon. Morning Worship Service 10:30 a.m. to noon. Evening Worship Service 6:00 p.m. Wednesday Prayer Meeting Service 7:00 p.m. Children’s Bible Club, Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. Youth Meeting, Thursday, 6:00 p.m. with Ed Zeno.

All Saints’ Church

The community is warmly invited to worship with All Saints’ Church. On Sunday, we gather for Communion at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Christians of every denomination are welcome to receive communion in the Episcopal Church.

All Saints hosts a Loaves & Fishes Community Meal on Saturday, September 23 at noon.

All Saints’ is located at the corner of 4th and Court Streets in Portsmouth.

First Church of Christ

A carry-in picnic will start at noon Saturday, Sept. 16, at the shelter house behind the First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg. Bring a covered dish and join the group for a time of fellowship.

Services Sunday, Sept. 17, at the First Church of Christ will include Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and worship services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The men will be going to the KYOWVA Evangelistic Association Men and Boys Quarterly Supper Meeting Monday, Sept. 18, at Adena Road Church of Christ, 900 Orange St., Chillicothe. Seth Tinkler, senior minister, will be preaching. Serving of the food will be from 6 to 6:50 p.m., and the program will start at 7 p.m.

Ladies will meet for Bible study at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, and all ladies are invited to join us to study the Bible.

Christians on Local Tours-Sight–seeing (COLTS) will meet for lunch at noon Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Ponderosa, 8801Ohio River Road, Wheelersburg. All ages are invited to join the group for lunch and a time of fellowship.

Praise, prayer and Bible study with the study of Matthew will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Helping Hands Ladies Group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the annex. Kayla McGee will be the hostess and will give the devotion.

Community of Christ

Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will greet High Priest Connie Altman as she shares her ministry at West Portsmouth Community of Christ on Sunday September 17 for Heritage Day. The 10:30 AM weekly World Church theme of “Forgive Each Other” will be developed by Elder Carol McGraw along with Elder Kathy Deemer presenting the musical selections for the Morning Worship hour. Priest Luanne Day, Kelli Hunter and Shannon Conley will lead the youth during Children’s Church also beginning at 10:30 AM. Beginning at 9:30 AM will be the Saints Study with Elder Kathy Deemer in charge. West Portsmouth Women’s Department Girlfriends-n-God will hold their annual “Holiday Bazaar” on Friday November 3 and Saturday November 4 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the church basement.

Coles Blvd. First Church of God

Pastor Chad Benner and the congregation of Coles Blvd. First Church Of God, located at 1300 Coles Blvd., invite you to come and worship with them.

Saturday, September 16, Quilting Class

Sunday, September 17, 10:30 a.m. – Morning Worship with Pastor Chad bringing the message from God’s Word. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing is available at all services.

Sunday, September 17, 6 p.m. – Evening Worship with Pastor Chad bringing the message from God’s Word. Also, Jimmy Dooley will be with us singing.

Monday, September 18, 5:30 p.m. – Exercise Class in the Fellowship Hall.
