Spriggs becomes state champion

Conor Spriggs, 6 is the son of David and Bethaney Spriggs of Xenia, Ohio, Grandson of Alice and Pat Spriggs of Portsmouth.

Conor was the Mens state champion March 23-24, 2013 at Gahanna-Lincon High School on Columbus. Making it to the state championships is a great honor in the first place, so to perform at a high level, as such an important meet is fantastic.

Connor is the reigning state champion in the vault. He also metaled in all the events and was second in the all around.

A teammate, Alex Ferrell, metaled in all events and was first all around. He teammate won first place and are the reigning 2013 state champion team from Centerville. Ohio.

Connor joins his father, a two time all-state basketball player from Portsmouth Clay High School and his grandfather a two time all-state basketball player from Portsmouth High School.

Connor has visited the Michigan and Ohio State gymnastic programs.
