The 5th Annual Smiles For Sean Toy Drive has been set for Saturday, December 10th at Northwest High School.
Donations of new unwrapped toys will be accepted starting at 3 p.m. The toys will be given away starting at 5 p.m.
According to event information there have been nearly 2000 children who have received toys in the last four years.
The event is named in memory of Sean Miller who died in an accident. According to Ray Miller, event organizer said, "Sean's life legacy was lived fully with the true meaning of Christmas. The spirit in which he lived was one of a caring and compassionate son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend. Sean shared the peace of Jesus Christ to every person he met and filled our family's life and the world around him with joy, hope, love and peace."
During the event there will be pictures with santa, gift wrapping and a number of other activities.
Those interested in receiving toys will need to bring birth certificates or proof of guardianship for each child.
